On Sunday in near perfect conditions, new Hong Kong recruit Darren Flannigan, in the absence of the Coach Wines, put the boys through their paces. One focus from Sunday’s session was about maximizing touches of the footy and building skills work into warm ups and warm downs. This was well received by the boys as was the 15 or so brand new nuggets Stuch brought down with him for us to break in. The clear weather and freshly mowed deck generated plenty of enthusiasm as we ran a number of drills making for an ideal first session as we prepare for our first SCAFL round, only two weeks away in Guangzhou.
There will be a fitness session run by Stuch this Tuesday 19:30 starting at the fitness arena towards the HK Football Club end of the inner race track area.
If you haven’t already please confirm with Barbs (tours@hk-dragons.com) your availability for Guangzhou on Saturday 12 March. We will be fielding HK Red and HK Blue teams so there will be plenty of football for everyone.
If you cant make the mid week session we will be training again this Sunday at 18:00.
